THE ALFRED HURRAN CUP
This is a competition for all teams in all Leagues and is a Knockout Cup, played in and out of the normal season, to a culmination of the two teams contesting the final to decide the Hurran Cup holder.
The first round is played on the opening week of the season. All rounds are played as League and Cup games until there is divisional winner. All divisional winners then go forward into an ‘open draw’ to be played after the normal season finishes. (Seven days notice to be given for the first round.) Each round is to be played over a two week period, with the home drawn team offering a minimum of two dates.
All rounds in the open draw up to the Semi-Final will be played on the home drawn clubs alley. In the event of the home side being unable to play at home, they can either reverse the fixture or play on a neutral alley. (A neutral alley being an alley used by a city team). The stickers fees are to be shared.
In the event of a tied game the away team will be deemed the winners, with the exception of the Semi-Final and Final which are played on a neutral alley. Then in the event of a tied game an extra leg will be played by the second halves until there is a clear winner
